Why DuoTrack
A stolen van means a stalled job site. And the tools go with it.
Thieves want vans as much for what they carry as for the vehicle itself. A van parked at a job site overnight, a service car sleeping at an employee's home: without a live position, you find out the next morning.
DuoTrack sends each vehicle's position to infrastructure hosted in Switzerland. By day, you see the fleet on a map, the trips, the mileage and the visits to your sites. At night and at weekends, parked mode notifies you as soon as a vehicle moves. After a theft, you share its position with the police in one link, and the police lead the recovery.

Two former police officers. Not a call centre.
Eric and Haris spent 18 combined years in the Vaud police before founding Duo Guardians. They designed DuoTrack so that, after a theft, the police get what they need straight away. They are the people you talk to, from your request to the installation.

How it works
Four steps, from request to recovery.
Request
A two-minute form, below. We call you back within 24 business hours with a quote based on the number of vehicles and the plan you choose.
Installation
Our partner installs a tracker in each vehicle, 90 minutes per vehicle, in Lausanne, Geneva, Montreux, Sion, Fribourg or Neuchâtel. Location not disclosed, no visible modification. All makes, light vans, hybrids and electric vehicles included.
Your access
The same day, you receive an email to choose your password. Your vehicles are already on the map. You invite your managers, with no user limit, on computer or phone, in French or German. Invoiced by Duo Guardians, 12 or 24-month commitment.
After a theft
You call 117 and file a complaint. From the app, you create a sharing link valid for 72 hours that the police open without an account; on request, we provide a certified extract of the history. The police lead the recovery. Goal: within 24 to 48 hours, before the vehicle leaves the country.
Legal framework. DuoTrack is a GPS tracking system, not an alarm or alert system. In the event of theft, you contact the police. Recovery of a stolen vehicle is the exclusive responsibility of law enforcement.

How much does a fleet cost?
It depends on the plan and the size of the fleet: Fleet Essential from CHF 19.- down to 13.- per tracker per month, Fleet Pro from CHF 29.- down to 21.-, quote from 200 trackers. Installation, tracker included, is paid once per vehicle. 12 or 24-month commitment, 10% off over 24 months.
How do I pay?
By invoice from Duo Guardians, for the chosen term of 12 or 24 months. No card to register, no software to buy or install.
Who can see the fleet?
As many people as you like: users are unlimited. With Fleet Pro, you create groups and each manager only sees their vehicles. People to notify are reached by phone and email, and also by SMS with Fleet Pro.
Are my employees being watched?
DuoTrack tracks vehicles, not people. Private periods hide the position outside the hours you set, for example when a company car is used in the evening or at the weekend. Tell your employees before installation: they need to know the vehicle is equipped and what the data is used for.
Is my data private?
Your location data is hosted in Switzerland, encrypted at rest and in transit. It is kept 12 months (Protect, Fleet Essential) or 24 months (Protect+, Fleet Pro). A private mode pauses tracking whenever you want; you can export all your data or ask for your account to be deleted. The police only access it through the link you share with them, or on judicial request.
Where do you install the tracker?
In our partner workshops in Lausanne, Geneva, Montreux and Vevey, Sion, Fribourg and Neuchâtel, as well as Basel and Zurich. Installation takes 90 minutes; you leave with the vehicle protected and your access arrives by email the same day.
Can I install it in German-speaking Switzerland?
Yes. We have installer partners in Zurich and Basel. GPS coverage is identical, the app and emails exist in German, and customer support is available in German on request.
Which cars is it compatible with?
All passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Connected to the vehicle's power supply depending on the model. Compatible with combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Does tracking work if the battery is disconnected?
Yes, the tracker has its own battery (about 7 days in economy mode) and notifies you as soon as it is disconnected. This is precisely designed for that scenario: organised thieves know they must cut the battery to neutralise basic trackers.
Is the tracker detectable?
The DuoTrack tracker uses a multi-frequency technology and an installation location chosen to minimise detection by RF scanners commonly used by organised thieves. No system is 100 % undetectable, but our install is designed to resist the rapid scans typical of a 90-second theft.
